ZERO QUEST — Official Rules

1. Overview

Zero Quest is a community challenge organized as part of the ZERO pre-Kickstarter campaign.
Participants complete quests, solve challenges, and earn points to unlock rewards, rankings, and exclusive benefits.

Participation in Zero Quest implies full acceptance of these rules.

2. Purpose

Zero Quest is designed to:

  • engage early adopters and the community,
  • encourage discovery of the ZERO ecosystem,
  • reward creativity, curiosity, and collaboration,
  • build a founding community before the Kickstarter launch.

Zero Quest is a promotional experience and a community activity, not a game of chance.

3. Eligibility

Participants must:

  • be at least 16 years old or have parental permission,
  • register using a valid email address,
  • provide accurate information,
  • comply with community guidelines.

Organizers reserve the right to refuse or remove participation at their discretion in case of abuse or rule violations.

4. Participation

Participants earn points by completing quests available on the Zero Quest platform.

Quests may include:

  • puzzles or code discoveries,
  • technical or creative challenges,
  • community interactions,
  • exploration tasks across official ZERO channels.

Each quest specifies:

  • requirements,
  • validation method,
  • number of points awarded.

5. Codes & Validation

Some quests require entering a code.

Rules regarding codes:

  • Codes must be discovered through legitimate participation.
  • Sharing solutions publicly before a quest expires may lead to penalties.
  • Automated scraping, brute force attempts, or system exploitation are prohibited.
  • The organizer’s validation system is final.

Any attempt to bypass intended mechanics may result in disqualification.

6. Points System

  • Points are awarded after successful validation of a quest.
  • Some quests may have limited availability or bonus multipliers.
  • Points have no monetary value.
  • Points cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged between accounts.

The platform leaderboard reflects accumulated points in real time or near real time.

7. Rewards

Participants may unlock rewards such as:

  • early access privileges,
  • exclusive content,
  • community badges,
  • discounts,
  • prototype opportunities,
  • or physical rewards.

Rewards:

  • are limited in quantity,
  • may vary by region,
  • are subject to availability.

No cash alternative will be provided unless explicitly stated.

8. Fair Play & Conduct

Participants agree to:

  • act respectfully toward other community members,
  • avoid harassment, spam, or manipulation,
  • avoid exploiting bugs or vulnerabilities.

The following actions are prohibited:

  • creating multiple accounts,
  • using bots or automation,
  • reverse engineering the platform for unfair advantage,
  • leaking private quests or admin content.

Violation may result in:

  • point removal,
  • temporary suspension,
  • permanent exclusion.

9. Quest Modifications

The organizer may at any time:

  • add, modify, or remove quests,
  • adjust point values,
  • fix errors or unintended mechanics,
  • rebalance rankings if necessary.

Changes may occur without prior notice to maintain fairness and gameplay integrity.

10. Campaign Duration

Zero Quest runs during the pre-Kickstarter campaign period.

Start and end dates are announced on official ZERO communication channels.

The organizer may extend or shorten the campaign if required.

11. Winners & Selection

Winners are determined based on:

  • total points earned,
  • completion milestones,
  • or specific reward conditions.

In case of tie:

  • earliest completion timestamp prevails unless stated otherwise.

Organizer decisions are final.

12. Data & Privacy

Participant information is used only for:

  • operating Zero Quest,
  • communicating campaign updates,
  • delivering rewards,
  • Kickstarter-related communication.

Data will not be sold to third parties.

Participants may request account deletion at any time.

13. Technical Issues

The organizer is not responsible for:

  • internet connectivity problems,
  • device incompatibility,
  • temporary platform downtime,
  • external service failures.

Attempts to exploit technical errors invalidate participation.

14. Intellectual Property

All ZERO branding, quests, visuals, and materials remain the property of the organizer.

Participants may share their experience publicly but may not reproduce or redistribute proprietary content without permission.

15. Liability

Zero Quest is provided “as is.”

The organizer cannot be held responsible for:

  • indirect damages,
  • lost access,
  • unmet expectations regarding rewards.

16. Changes to Rules

These rules may be updated at any time to ensure fairness and clarity.

The latest version published on the platform is the authoritative version.
